I'm Sean Crosier owner and operator of Evergreen Images and I would like to welcome you to my gallery. I have been a photographer for over 25 years, specializing in photojournalism. Throughout my time as a newspaper photographer I have specialized in "feature" type photography that has exemplified what I offer on my site today. I have lived in Colorado most of my life and I share with you my vision across the state, from the plains in eastern Colorado to the mountains in the west. My inspiration comes from both my love of photography and my love for Colorado.I have lived here most of my life and it provides endless quality subject matter. From the plains on the east to the mountains in the west plus Denver and all the small towns in between I have been inspired to create quality art photography through the years. My goal is to produce art in the form of photography that inspires others to appreciate and love as much as I do.
I started out with a passion for photojournalism which sent me to the University of Kansas where I graduated with that major. Shooting KU basketball, football plus the news and feature stories was a great stepping stone for my future as a photographer. I then worked for a small newspaper in Colorado which honed my skills and creativity where I was responsible for all the photography. There I won several awards which allowed me to freelance for the Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News. While working for these newspapers I developed a fascination and love for "feature" photography, which ultimately led to my obsession with the art side.
My technique has developed through a lifelong passion for photography. From using my basement growing up as a darkroom to develop my own black and white prints to ultimately becoming proficient in the digital format through the recent years. I use Photoshop and Lightroom to correct and perfect my images. Experience is the catalyst for my technique and my 30 plus years has gotten me where I am today. Yet I am always growing and learning to better my craft and that will never change.
